Comments: | Website live at www.rtionline.assam.gov.in. Our research indicates that the Assam RTI web Portal URL was indexed on Google on 12th July 2024. This means that Google found and registered the existence of Assam’s RTI Online Web Portal on 12th July 2024. While we have no responses from the state of Assam regarding the letters; It would appear that the Assam Government has made an RTI Web Portal and published it. A screenshot of the Google Indexing search is given below. we are glad that the Supreme Court’s orders have been complied with by the Assam Government. However, the Assam RTI Web Portal is still incomplete, Only 273 public authorities are onboarded on this portal. The portal is missing key authorities, such as the Assam Human Rights Commission and the Assam Pollution Control Authority. We hope that Assam will onboard all authorities soon. |
